My monthly gem has come in the mail and, honestly they literally send me exactly what I need. PSYCHIC!
Lets start with my favorite item at the moment the Color Theory Creme Corrector in peach. Now when I say they are psychic I wasn't joking at all because I've been on the search for a peach correcting concealer for my dark circles and lo and behold my May Petit Vour box had exactly what I needed. Peach correctors are used to cancel out blue/dark spots on the face including the dark circles. As soon as I put it on there was a MAJOR difference, it instantly brighten my undereyes, so much I didn't even want to add my regular concealer after but I did put a little anyways because it was VERY bright. Overall 10/10 I would def rebuy this! Plus this was a full size item!
Next, I received the Banana Colloidal Oatmeal Face Mask and Scrub! I just ran out of my my new fav scrub from DermaE that I use daily! I reordered it and I'm waiting to get it but I wanted to use this as a substitute. This item was only in a sample size but a little GOES A LONG WAY I could keep this sample for a good few months. It's smooshy and gritty so I applied it on while I was showering in the morning I applied it on my skin and let it sit for a few minutes while I washed my hair and body then I massaged it in circular motions and followed up with my face wash and pat to dry. My skin is SOOOOO soft and supple and it feels hydrated. It's rich in Vitamin A and Potassium white hydrates soothes and repairs dry skin. I applied my regular moisturizer and it still feels moisturized and soft I'm honestly impressed and will plan to buy it in a full size. I think it would be gentle enough to use everyday so I'm still going to test that out because I really like how my skin felt afterwards 9/10.
The next product I tried was the Reparative Cucticle Oil Treatment. I always have my nails painted and lately my cuticles have been killing me. I was excited to try this and was happy to say I see a big difference in my cuticles after the first two times. It's recommended to use day and night in the day time I tend to forget but I do usually use it at night. A little also goes a long way so def 8/10.
Now the last product is something I won't be using for a while to be honest. It's the Sunset Oil! Okay I wrote this thinking it was to be used after a day out in the sun. Ya girl works 5 days a week 8 hours a day she doesn't go out that often so I thought to myself, I have to wait until I hike, go to the beach or something! Turns out this oil can also be used for everyday! It has a nice aroma-therapeutic smell and it leaves the skin soft like any oil would really. It's nice but I'd love to see what it feel after a long day at the beach or in the sun!
