April Favorites

Man how the times have been flying, I'v been stuck at home studying, waiting for this quarantine to ride out. I found some new staples in these favorites and I'm excited to share them with you guys!

S K I N C A R E:

PCAs Skin Creamy Cleanser: I was excited to try this product and I originally got it because I had a coupon at Nordstrom. I wanted something nice and hydrating, this cleanser was pretty nice! It felt nice and luxurious, but I don't think I would spend the same amount for this cleanser. I also felt like it didn't clean my face, it didn't;t lather at all and sometimes I like a foamy lather. However, I do like using this to clean my makeup brushes and sponges!

Glossier's Super Duo serums: I've always wanted to try these serums and thankfully they've made the bottles bigger! It's definitely more bang for your buck. I like these serums, they're nice for the money and the benefits of serums are good for everyday. I also think that this would be good for beginner skincare serum starters. IN MY OPINION, I am not a licensed expert, this is form my experience.
I was introduced to Krave Beauty through Sean Garette. He is another esethician that I love to follow and I saw him post about this brand a couple of times and decided to treat myself to some of their products. Their products are also cruelty free AND vegan.

Kravebeauty's Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser : So after not being too satisfied with the PCA cleanser I decided to try this cleanser! This cleanser was exactly what I wanted. It's decently priced, hydrating, and leaves my skin squeaky clean. It's a gel cleanser and you only need a small amount. A little goes a long way and foams up nicely on the skin. It doesn't leave my skin dry at all afterwards. It's probably going to be my favorite cleanser from now on, considering the FAB cleanser is $23 meanwhile this is $16. Definitely repurchasing this!
Kravebeauty's Great Barrier Relief: Skin Barrier Serum:  I was really intrigued to try this serum out and honestly, it's a new holy grail serum! This serum was so hydrating on the skin.  After the first night my skin's reaction was heavenly. The smell reminded me of a Korean spice shop in Koreaown, but it's not too overwhelming! I only apply this at night because it's meany to repair your barrier and that is best done at night! I would honestly choose this over the glossier serums and try to find a vitamin c serum that can work with the products I have currently.

I really want to try their The Beet Shield but they are currently sold out! :(

M A K E U P:

Ilia's True Skin Serum Foundation: So everyone and their mama was talking about this brand. I was definitely intrigued after a friend of mine was using it so I ordered from Nordstrom their Serum Foundation in Catalina SF7. This was actually a really nice surprise. I loved the color it matched my skin so well! I apply it with an beauty sponge rather than a buffing brush because I like the finish better that way. It gives my skin a nice natural glow and is perfect for those 'no makeup' makeup look days. I would also probably try for this over the colder months than the hotter ones, but it's still nice and lightweight enough for me to use in the upcoming warmer days. The other nice thing about this foundation is that it is non-toxic and VEGAN! Yes, vegan, if you're looking for that..this is the winner. It's clean and conscious so even though the price tag might be a little but too much I definitely would recommend this as a splurge for yourself item!

Vesca Beauty's 'KISSED BY' SOFT-MATTE BRONZING POWDER: These were gifted to me, however, these are the perfect bronzers I have ever gotten. I'm not a huge fan of bronzers, genuinely never found a color that really worked well for my skin tone.I had contoured before but it never did much. These colors are divine and blend so nicely into the skin. I got the colors Santorini and Diani. Santorini is the perfect bronzer, its dark enough to add warmth to the face but not an overkill. Diani is the perfect counter color for my skin tone, a little goes a long way for this color/pigment. It lasts all day and looks super nice on the skin. I've gotten lots of compliments on the contour I've done as well! I definitely can't wait to try their Soft Sun Radiant Skin Primer and Luminzer

That's it for this month! I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy xoxo
