2017 highlights

Sunday, December 31, 2017

This year has been an emotional roller coaster with many highs and downs but as always I like to look at the brighter side of things and reflect. These were my top moments in 2017!

~January~

January was cute, I took my mom to a really nice place for her birthday and we felt like rich queens. That's honestly all I did besides work.
~February~
In February I had my first Valentines Day with Kevin and It was so special and cute. We went to Chipotle in Downtown all dressed up. We went to see the Notebook in the Downtown Los Angeles Theater and it was Kevin's first time seeing it too! It was a cute and special moment xoxo

~March~
EH...
~April~
April was so much fun! Another first for us! Kevin and I went to Disneyland! I've always wanted to go to Disneyland with a significant other and it was like a little dream come true and we had so much fun!

Later on that month we went to YOSEMITE! I was so excited because I love nature and Yosemite is such a beautiful magical place tucked in California, and to experience it with Kevin made it 10 times better.

~May~
May was fun, it was Kevins birthday and we went to our first Dodger game together and it was awesome. I got him his first jersey ever and our seats were sick af!

It was a friday so they had fireworks and we were able to go out on the field and it was 80s music night. The next day was KROQs Weenie Roast Fest and we saw our girl Lana perform and up next PARAMORE. My middle school self was living!!!!!! Then Cage of the Elephant came on and Imagine Dragons were there as well. FREAKING INCUBUS performed and also played special tribute to Chris Cornell which brought me to tears and it was awesome! Lorde was aight. It was also the first cinespia movie showing I went to for the summer and they showed clueless!

~June~
June was fun with a trip to the lavender festival and many Cinespia visits but the highlight of the month was Lana's birthday party at 1OAK.  I went with my best friend Alyssa to the lavender festival and it was SOOOOO CUTE. Oh wow everything had lavender, food beer, ice cream we made cute flower crowns the best most relaxing time!

We also went to two Cinespia events in this month, Wizard of Oz and Selena and they had to be the most memorable by far.

~July~

4th of July was awesome and soothing, Kevin and I went whale watching and relaxed on the ocean watching the waves go by and saw dolphins and seals. Sadly we didn't see any whales but just to be out in the ocean was good enough, Cinespia also held Dirty Dancing for their 4th of July event with fireworks and it was sooo fun with beautiful fireworks display complete with 80s music.

Then we had Lanas spotify listening party, which I was originally not going to and then my friend Anthony had a plus 1, BLESS THE MAN and we were able to go with a FULL BAR girlie hooked it up. We got to listen to the whole album and hear her sing parts of it.

I also took my dad to a Red Soxs game for his birthday/fathers day gift, he's loved the Redsox since he was little and groomed me to be a Boston fan in general but I still got my love for my LA teams. (except the Lakers lolol)

Last exciting moment of July was an intimate concert from Lana at Ameoba, it was honestly a dam mess and I cut off people in my life who only wanted to be close for their own personal gain, either way I was able to see Lana and the band perform and it was really cute and I'm glad I was able to say hi. AND SHE SANG A SNIPPET OF HEROIN BLESSSSSS
~August~
Birthday month hollllaaaaaaa! This month was full of fun as well. On the first day Lana had a concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim and it was fun sweats barricades singing along with George next to me, classic Lana concert.

The next day, my dear girlie Lisette took me to Disneyland where we met up with George and Disneybounded as Alice in Wonderland characters. ahh Disneyland you will always hold a special place in my heart.

Kevin and I went up the PCH to Monterey and enjoyed a nice mini vacation.  We spent time in Santa Cruz especially on the boardwalk and we were able to drink?!? points to SC. It was such a gorgeous day and it wasn't too hot either considering it was summer. The next day we went to Monterey where we visited the Aquarium and it was AWESOME, when I was little I wanted to be a  marine biologist and it was so exciting to rekindle that little passion of mine. We obviously couldn't leave without some good ol clam chowder and fancy wine tasting. The next say we did 17 mile drive and had the chance to visit the famous Pebble Beach and enjoyed the drive to Carmel By the Sea. I visited Carmel previously with my family and fell in love and the town still has the same homey feeling. We had dinner at Big Sur and it was such a beautiful moment with Kevin, it was heaven on Earth.

This month was also when ,y dad met Kevin and we had a nice party for my dad and I's birthday! My 22nd birthday came around and it was hype being able to spend time with my friends on my special day, and DAVEY WAYNES IS ALWAYS GROOVY.

~September~
I went to my first football college game, Oregon vs. ASU with Kevin and I was really excited. One because I've never been and two Kevin is a Oregon alum and thats pretty awesome to me, DAS MY MAN YO!

So that was pretty cool, then we had Cinespia and the first Harry Potter film was shown and it was so nostalgic omg memories. George and I also went to the Santa Barbara Bowl to see Lana perform and it was so much and relaxing.

~October~
October was a fun ass month as well! Up first was Horror nights with Ashley, George, and Karla which was super fun. Finally able to drink at the park was definitely nice!

George and I saw Lana at Camp Flog Naw and man oh man what a two day festival, we went through mosh pits, sweat, alcohol, and rude ass people for barricade for Lana and were able to enjoy the last act of the show.

It was my one year anniversary with Kevin the highlight of my month! Halloween we did something very simple pizza and wings watching the Dodger playoff games. We also dressed up as Wendy Peffercorn and Squints and we already have our costume planned for next year!

~November~
This month was cute! Kevin and I went to a Back to the Future theme night and it was totally 1950s music and attire only and it was the best!!!! We slow danced to earth angel and my life was complete!

I had thanksgiving with Kevins family and it was absolutely delicious and wonderful, incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful boyfriend with a kind family. The Lana Del Rey pop up was this month as well and it was cute and fun and I was able to get merch and take cute pics. I already made a blog post about most of these events so I won't go into too much details.

~December~
December was hard I finished my last class at SMC and began finalizing my applications for college. It was more of a relaxing time, and mostly everything was included into my blog so there's not much to share BUT this year has been full of many ups and downs and I can't wait to see what 2018 has in store for me
