hello to the first Jan post!

I have a some exciting new products I've come to love! They're the Kristin Ess line that I saw at target. I first came across them when I was looking for a new cruelty free line online and found a page that gave many suggestions. At the moment I can't find the website but I'll make sure to add it in later. Any who, my problem with most cruelty free hair products is that they don't provide enough moisture for my hair, it tend to feel dry, and only feels nice the first time using it. I tried Shea moisture products because I thought they'd be nice and they were cruelty free, but they did nothing for my hair instead made it look greasy. Their heat protectant was okay but still did not feel silky at all. :(

So I stuck with the Costco brand shampoo and conditioner and they're nice too affordable and cruelty free! But I wanted a step up so after my research I stumbled upon Krisitn Ess hair! These super sleek and stylish products are worth the hype in my opinion based on my hair. you can either get these on her website or Target

Each product retails $10-$14. TALK ABOUT A DEAL!! These feel like salon products and they wont break the bank! So far I've only used 4 products but I'm definitely buying more form the line. So lets start with  the products:

Shampoo: Their signature shampoo is really nice and a little goes a long way! Smells amazing you'd use is as you would with any shampoo. This doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy, it feels clean and soft. I have problems with shampoos sometimes because I have oily hair and they don't always work, but this one is awesome! 10/10
Conditioner: Okay conditioners can be very tricky, you're supposed to use about a quarter size amount (maybe a little bit more) and I am guilty of NOT following that rule, so I go through conditioners pretty quickly. I use maybe 2x that amount and I would use more if I had longer hair. Same smell to the shampoo so A on that and when I used them both together they left my hair really nice, air dry or using heat they worked. I've had problems with cruelty free conditioners with not being moisturizing enough and having to go back to a regular one. This one provided moisture and gets the job done 9/10

So I used these products for a week and it convinced me to try some of their other products.
I had to go to TWO TARGETS TO FIND THEM!! Like dam they're really popular then hahaha.
Serum: My go to is Moroccanoil Treatment which is more on the pricer side and ya girl need to be on a budget. So I picked out the working serum and my oh my did it do the job. It didn't leave my hair greasy or heavy at all! You're only distribute the products on the ends of your hair and then with whatever is left over on your hands (it shouldn't be a lot) use it to tame fly aways. This product was a game changer for me because hair drying and heat styling if left my hair smooth and shiny!! I use one pump on my wet hair and after styling use one more to seal everything! 10/10
Hair Mask: So I wanted to make a goal to give a little more love to my hair this year and try to do a hair mask once a week. I saw the reviews on this and decided to try it. THANK THE HAIR GODS!! I tried this while I was taking a bath, first I shampooed my hair and instead of conditioning I applied the mask on the ends of my hair and a little but above them too. I let the mask sit for 1 hour for MAXIMUM MOISTURE, and I must say it left feeling soft and smelling amazing. My hair feels shiny and clean. You can use the mask in the shower for ten minutes so you don't have to do an hour BUT I definitely recommend leaving it in for an hour and the products as well! 10/10

These products work and I'm so happy to have tried them and continue using them let me know what you guys like either through insta or in the comments down below! Keep in mind I'm shifting to only using CRUELTY-FREE!

Thanks lovelies for all your support!!

xoxo
