She came for three days and even though I missed her it was nice catching up with some fans.
I came on a Monday not expecting it to be too busy, and met up with my friend Stephanie. We went in and I was trying on the jackets because they were so cute. The workers told us everything would be available on tour except for the Racer Jacket with the album covers on it, it was pop up exclusive. I had my white wind breaker coming in still from the preorder and I was waiting to get paid to get the racer jacket and they ran out of smalls so I said it wasn't meant to be. We went on taking photos of the beautiful rose wall backdrop and they had a cute ice cream truck outside from AFTERS ICECREAM (their Jasmine tea ice cream was to DIE for.) People said Lana was on her way so I decided to stay longer and she never showed up so I went to school and went on about the day. I was coming back Friday for the jacket anyways and to hang with my bestie George.
TUESDAY comes around and I'm at work and turns out she came, I was a little sad but happy for the people that met her because they've been there for days. My day took a turn for the worst when I lost my kindle that Kevin got me for my birthday and I was heartbroken....then...IT HAPPENED.
Lana posted on instagram she wasn't coming to the pop ups anymore but that she was going to give away her Galore coat and other personal jackets to fans, all you had to do was write a letter to her about why you want it etc. I made my post which I can insert here
"Gee oh my where do I begin Lana I’ve loved you since 2012/2013 and have been a big fan ever since, from missing you at the Del Rey theatre and amoeba the first time around and finally getting to the Shrine, Hollywood Forever, to Chula Vista and the hollywood bowl then after your kindness at the honeymoon meet and greet touched my heart and meant the absolute world to me, especially when I was alone. There after I’ve met you many times true, but each moment has been super special to me and my younger years being crazy camping out on the streets of California and making friends and loosing ties to see you perform NEVER would I have thought I’d be so lucky to see you and meet you. Your music has always been therapeutic to me and escape from so many things especially during my darkest times and even now at my happiest point in life you still bring the same amount of joy into my life hearing your voice. I’m currently working full time and going to school part time and I still try and make everything work to see you because you mean that much to me ❤️ also ya girl gotta make money to see ya hahaha. That fur coat from galore is BEYOND GLAMOROUS and I know a lot of people would love it (especially me lol) so if you wanna hook a sista up HOLLAA but I’d be honored to have any one of your piece. I’m sad I wasn’t able to see you at the pop up shop especially after drama that happened outside but nevertheless the Pop yo was super adorable and the staff so kind and friendly. NOW I didn't know if she meant one of her jackets or the racer merch one BUT I'll take anything from an angel, so I'm patiently waiting my package hehe.
I went back friday with George and they had restocked the smalls in the racer jacket and I decided to play it safe and buy the jacket since it was exclusive and took one last pic. New merch arrived later that night with cherry t-shirts and dad hats, most likely going to be tour merch.
