Halloween Horror Nights

We did our annual trip to Halloween Horror night with old faces and new faces. It's Alyssas birthday month and SHE'S FINALLY BACK FROM SJ, we used to go every year for her bday in high school and now she's finally backkkk!
Anywho you know me I like to dress up for things and last time we did Horror Movie icons where I did Casey from Scream, Karla did Tiffany from Bride of Chucky, and George did Georgie from IT. So this year I was like idk what to do and then was inspired by instagrammer Bree Kiss when she dressed as Barb for the Stranger Things maze! I've already did Eleven two years ago for a halloween party so I wanted to do somethings different! NANCY WHEELER

So my original outfit I wanted to do was this one
All you'll need are the following:
  • A Burgundy or maroon colored jacket, fleece or not works tbh that'd be pretty hard to find BUT it doesn't have to be EXACT, I got mine from postmark which didn't have fleece but was super cute and versatile to use afterwards
  • Next you'll need a teal/dark green pullover sweater, I got mine from forever21 and it was cropped so it was actually super flatter to me.
  • Next underneath she has a plaid flannel, now in Indiana it's probably super cold but NOT HERE, so I already had a short sleeve silk plaid top from Forever21 from like 3 years ago and it worked perfectly.
  • Some dark blue jeans, thankfully I had nice comfy ones
  • and for shoes anything will work, we were going to walk a lot so I went with black keds, you could do better with brown combat boots.
  • fingerless gloves are optional so is the bat !
So here was our game plan for the park:
  • Try to go on a Thursday for less crowded experience, we've gone on a Saturday and it was busy as fuck.
  • ALWAYS GET THERE EARLY, and do early entry if you can! Our tickets didn't have early entry but it was still chill, we went to Karl Strauss for Happy Hour because everything is super overpriced so I wanted to get a little lit and something in my stomach.
  • Once in the park, I always recommend to start from the bottom lot and up. You beat the heavy lines and everything was like 20 minutes.
  • Now in my experience they never sold alcohol unless in designated areas, this year they were selling them EVERYWHERE beer and wine no cocktails really. We went into some mazes with drinks and in others drinks weren't allowed.
We honestly finished by 11p.m. and had like a 20 minute break. My fav maze was Stranger Things and Poltergeist!
