Fall Makeup must haves

Sunday, October 14, 2018

One of my favorite seasons has fallen upon us! Time to switch up the colors to more warmer orangey brown tones and darker hues of reds and berries. If you haven't noticed I decided to cancel my petit vour subscription, I absolutely loved the subscription but I thought it was best to save money in anyway I can now that I am not working as often. Anywho, many of these are old favorites and new favorites!
  • My first go-to was an OBSESSION I had last year. This colourpop palette has the perfect brown, orangey shades that I LOVE for fall! Colourpop's eyeshadows have always had great color pay off and for the price you really can't go wrong! I've had this palette since last year and it's still holding out pretty well.
  • For my everyday 15 minute face makeup I use Glossier's lidstar in Cub, which is a nice warm rosy brown color. One swipe and some blending using just your finger and you're set!
  • My next fav is a crowd favorite Milk makeup KUSH mascara. Ignore the name, unless you're into that stuff hehe, but I saw this on my friend Karla and her lashes were AMAZING. I had to try it out, at first I wasn't impressed but I've noticed that with most mascaras I have to let it thicken up a little in order to get the consistency to make my lashes looking full and voluminous. It doesn't hold my curl but I've realized I have stick straight lashes so a struggle but this leave me content.
  • okay so for my face I have absolutely loved this foundation from a brand that I came across on the internet on the way back from Oregon! It's the The Ordinary Serum Foundation in 2.1Y. It's an absolute dream and is def better used with setting powder because it does transfer but it lightweight and has coverage. Although I don't have too much that I need to cover up I use it with a real techniques expert face brush to buff it in and a beauty blender to smooth out any lines. It's a nice summer to fall transition foundation but I still love my Colourpop No Filter foundation in Medium110 and my Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation in Sicily Amber foundations. I'm pretty set with these three that I like to alternate with because I don't want to spend more money on them. I'll make a post on finding your right shade later on because it's a struggle!
  • Another everyday, 15 minute face day makeup I use Glossier's stretch concealer which hides your dark circles and any small imperfections you wanna hide. I usually use it just to even out my skin tone under neath my eyes, and around my mouth chin and upper lip.
  • You're probably wondering why only income specific areas, well with Glossier cloud paint in Storm or for any color that matter, it's like having a high coverage blush on top...depending how much you use. I over blush...there no shame in looking like you're a blushing fairy on a daily basis. My skin peeks through but the color lasts all day! I love the color storm because it gives you a nice flush and gives you the frost bitten look after being in the cold all day. I also like to put someone my nose for extra cuteness!
  • The other blush I love using, depending on my mood, is the NYX Ombre blush in Nude to Me. At first I was thinking this isn't going to look that great on me because of my skin tone BUT I WAS WRONG it a shimmery blush but a little goes a long way! It almost contours my face at the same time as well so use it lightly at first especially with the shimmer in it.
  • The other blush I use is from Eldridge Organics a vegan, cruelty free, all natural blush from a small company on Etsy It gorgeous and at the moment their shop is closed due to them moving but soon enough you can get your hands on this beauty.
  • I set my face with Glossier's Wowder in Dark/Deep, and this baby get the job done and removes some shine, but not all of it. You still want your natural glow to peek through ya know!
  • For daily highlight I use Haloscope in Quartz and for more light blinding highlight I use Wet n Wild Precious Petals!
  • Lastly for lips go to's are NYX Lip Lingerie in Seduction and Citrouille Cosmetics in Harvest Pumpkins so appropriate right??
So there you have it dudes and dudettes, my fav fall makeup products at the moment, I'll be sure to update on any newbies added. I want to start doing IG VIDEOs on my makeup and skin care very soon because I a lot of people ask where my youtube channel is haha It's not going to happen just yet, but I'll need to save up for a camera!

If you purchase any of these products because I recommended them to you please use the hashtag #AllisonMadeMeDoIt cuz I'd love to see who loves the same stuff I do!

all my love and here to another glorious day xoxo
