March Favorites

Man what a crazy time we're in. As you might've guessed. I'm cooped up in my apartment due to the whole self-quarantine thing. It sucks, but at least I'm taking this time to do nice reset.

S K I N C A R E:

I've taken a small break from my skincare testing for the month, I'm mostly using what I have right now. I did order PCAs Skin Creamy Cleanser as well as Glossier's Super Duo serums. So I will definitely give you guys an update!

However, I got these free FULL SIZE samples of Honest Beauty makeup removers and I must say I love them! Cleans the skin and take off the makeup. It's easy and it's simple to use like any other makeup remover. If you see if at target pick one up!

When I heard about Loops I was super excited to try it! I went ahead and triedThe Variety Loop pack! So far I've only used sunrise service and I really liked it! I was really nice on the skin and nice little 15 min. reset in the morning. I really want to try their Eye mask as well. I still have the other pack to try but I want to save them. The serum didn't cause me to break out and they are cruelty free!

M A K E U P:

It's funny how now that I'm stuck inside bored out of my mind, I want to use more makeup because I'm bored. Well these were some of my staple favorites during the month.

Well let's start out with my favorite thing, BLUSH! So you already know the drill I love blush, big, vibrant, bold color. So I was minding my own business and I get a email from Kosas saying they're doing mercury retrograde is over sale and their Color & Light Cream Blush was only

$20 AND free shipping SO I got the Kosas Color & Light Cream Blush in Velvet Melon High Intensity. Now I absolutely love this color for spring and fall. I recently used this in my Easy Spring Makeup Video. The video washed out the color but it is really vivid and nice as seen in this photo. I use my fingers just to apply and blend, it's super easy and really vivid!

My next favorite is the Milani's Rose Powder Blush in Wild Rose. As I've stated I love blush and this was nice for everyday color. I can't use any pale pinks because of my complexion..at least I haven't experimented with any yet. I wanted a nice powder blush for when I'm on camera for class. This color blends beautifully and is bright but not too much for camera. I love it and it lasts all day!

I've been LOVING Glossier's Skywash! I've been wearing less makeup beginning of the month and then Glossier came out with this eyeshadow and I was so super excited. I've been looking for a liquid eyeshadow that is easy to use, subtle, but nice enough to look put together. This is IT! I love all the colors, and I still want to try the blue one but I'm waiting for another day to do that. I apply it with the doe foot applicator and just blend with my fingers. It's that easy, plus it lasts all day. It doesn't crease at all to my surprise. I love the colors, again, subtle, but still enough to make you look from drab to fab...if that's what you're going for.

This is a makeup look I put together using Glossier's Skywash using Terra and Valley and Kosas Color & Light Cream Blush in Velvet Melon High Intensity.

F R A G R A N C E:

I love fragrance as any girl does. I like to save my designer Miss Dior, Coco Chanel, Burberry perfumes for very special occasions so when super great had this perfume and saw it was ROSE...there was no way I would turn it down. I was surprised to see how big the bottle was and it's a roll on so it would def last a really long time. Gourmand Pure perfume roller is the best and smells amazing. It smells like a fresh bouquet of roses in a bottle. It's a very strong smell but its heavenly, make you feel like you're in a rose garden with a cottage in the middle of no where.
