February Favorites

Hey guys, this post is very delayed but if you know anything about what has happened within the last week you would know I had a very unfortunate incident happened to me. Thankfully I'm getting back to my old self, slowly but surely. So I wanted to share some of my favorite items!
S K I N C A R E:
SO I really wanted to try out Versed's Baby Cheeks all-in-one Hydrating Milk Toner. I was super intrigued by this0especially after my last post about toners- and I wanted to give this a try since the heritage toner can be hard to come by due to the popularity the other one had. So I tried this out and I can say I really do like it! I removes makeup very well, and left my skin feeling really nice. My only comment is the way it dispenses. I would much rather prefer something that would pour out or a spray because one pump doesn't feel like enough and two is just too much. I will say that the way I use it, is mainly for precleansing. I do an oil cleanse with jojoba oil and then remove the oil with this toner, cleaning and hydrating myosin as well as storing my skins PH balance.

The next product I wanted to talk about it Versed Press Restart Gentle Retinol Serum! I've always been intrigued by retinol, but I didn't know much to start using it. I was intrigued by this because it's mostly advertised for beginners really. The product itself is really nice, it glides onto the skin very smoothly and my skin feels very nice the next day. It keeps most of my breakouts at bay, this combined with your regular routine is also something to take note of. I tone use serums, moisturize, and sunscreen. I only use this at night before any serums and moisturizers, this is the first thing on my face after I tone. It has made a tremendous difference on my skin.

I have been using super great a lot lately and this was one of the reward drops I got and I was super excited. Onekind's Pore-fectionist Refining Facial mask is oh so nice. What I loved most about this mask is that it's non-irritating and very easy to use. The application is easy and it dries fairly well and quickly. The clean up is also easy you don't have to take a wet towel to wipe it off which is nice on the skin. As long as you tone after it removes the rest of the mask on your skin- hydrating toner.  It's also packaged with packaged in a 75% post-recycled plastic (PCR) tube with a 100% PCR cap.

H A I R:

I have been recently washing my hair every other day, in order to train my hair to not wash it everyday and maybe control my dandruff. Sometimes I don't wash my hair for two days and I need an extra cleanse on my scalp from the oil buildup. I picked up Kristin Ess Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo from target because it was specifically for a deep clean. This is better than any other clarifying/ hair scalp scrubs I've tried. I've used this since the beginning of February and love it! I love all her products and especially the smell!

M A K E U P:

I was super excited to hear when covergirl became cruelty free recently, and I was over the moon when they came out with their new Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation! Originally I thought that it was a tinted moisturizer from the title. It's actually a medium coverage foundation! I really liked how it went on the skin I probably would save this for days I want even skin tone and just want to look decent. I still love my NYX Born to Glow foundation and use that mainly for special occasions and camera use. I apply this with a beauty blender and sometimes even a buffing foundation brush. It blends nicely and it matched my skin tone so well! The finish is semi-dewy and it lasted a pretty long time, the only way to know is through my blush and to see how long it lasts on my cheeks!

That's all I have for this past month! I apologize again for the delay and I appreciate everyones support through my difficult time. Hope all stays well and everyone is safe, blessed be.
