Holy cow the first few summer days have come to such a great start but with the good comes the sour. A little personal short: I recently found out I’m not getting financial aid for school for my last year at CSULB which has made me extremely anxious and stressed. However, I know things will cross my path and only make me stronger and just for now I have to suck it up and work harder than I already do! Thankfully this month, before my financial fiasco, I was able to try many new products out as well as receive some goodies from companies hehe.

S K I N C A R E:

As I mentioned before I was on the hunt for some sunscreen especially since it is officially summer! Sunscreen has to be one of the most important skincare products you can use year round, especially in the summer time.

• I've been dying to try Glossier's Invisible Shield daily sunscreen with SPF 35 it was previously out of stock and it finally came back! I apply it after my moisturizer and facial oil and allow it to settle in to my skin. It has a faint smell of sunscreen but it's not overpowering I quite like it! A little goes a long way and the texture is nice because it easily glides on the skin. 
• This next product I've also wanted to try for a really long time now. I've always been drawn to Badger Balm products because of the cute little Badgers on it but now I finally pulled the trigger and purchased one of their sunscreens because it was on sale at Lazy Acres! I got the Unscented Natural Mineral Sunscreen Cream in SPF 30! 

• I wanted to boost my skincare game to the next level so I decided to try Niu Body's Boost Facial Serum and I absolutely adore it! It smells divine and leaves my skin soft and supple. I like to apple some at night before bed and follow up in the morning I love using their glow serum! I got the boost serum from theirYouth Skin Kit set to save a little bit of money but also to get one of my favs, the Sooth Pink Clay mask. Luckily, it came with their Awake facial mist. I love keeping it in the fridge so when I spray it on it feels refreshing and cool.

• okay last last last skincare item I've been LOVING has been the Earth Science Papaya-Glycolic Radiant Skin Masque it leaves my skin absolutely soft and glowing! It exfoliates my skin without harsh scrubs beads/walnut scrub. I apply it on twice a week and let it sit on my skin for 15 minutes and then I peel some of it off and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

H A I R:

I had a lot of fun trying out new hair products this month thanks to Verb!! I recently became part of the #VerbFriends crowd and I never sign up for anything if I don’t believe in it! Their products are cruelty free and affordable!

• One of my favorite products is their Verb Sea Spray! I swear this spray gives my hair the perfect amount of wave and texture without heat styling it! I usually shower in the morning and then I let my hair air dry throughout the day but when I spray this into my hair it gives me effortless waves! 
• I also really love their Verb Volume Spray! I have flat fine hair and I never really tried to get a volume spray until Verb came along! I apply this with the verb sea salt spray and it works wonders! In the summer time I hate heat styling, it makes me sweaty and it damages my hair, no thanks! When I use these two it gets the job done 

That's about all I have today for the end of the month favs! I didn't try any new makeup items this month, I focused a lot on my skin and hair this month and it has definitely been paying off! Thank you so much for taking the time to read and visiting my page! Have a lovely new month! À bientôt!
