This month was so hectic the final few weeks of school ended in the beginning of the month, then we were gone for a week in Utah leaving me enough time to test out some products in different conditions!

S K I N C A R E:

Sunscreen was perhaps my most important goal for this month. When I was planning to go to Zion I wanted SPF daily. I assumed it was going to be sunny and warm the whole week, but it wasn't. However, even on the cloudy days we gotta have our SPF on when we're outside. 

• The first product I was excited to try was The Body Shop's Vitamin C Glow-protection Lotion with SPF 30! This lotion actually goes on smoothly and doesn't feel sticky like other sunscreens, in fact, it feels like a primer! It smells really good as well; I usually apply this before my makeup  if I'm going to be outside for most of the day. I work inside everyday so I don't put on this lotion daily.
• This brings me to my next fav, Botanics all Bright Hydrating Day Lotion with SPF 15.! I apply this daily and it goes on nicely. I wished it was a little bit of a thicker consistency but it get's the job done and keeps me moisturized. The added SPF is also a plus so even for the days I don't have The Body Shop Lotion on. I still want to explore the SPF face lotion options so if you have any recommendations leave a comment!

M A K E U P:

 I didn't wear much makeup this month since I was really busy and also because I didn't need to!

• However, I wanted some simple coverup for my trip and for daily use. I didn't want anything heavy and I wanted something with SPF as well. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Hydrating Gel Cream with SPF 30. My color is 6.5 Desert and i's pretty close! I wasn't kidding when I said I wanted THAT SPF! What's lovely about this cream is how lightly and easily it glides on I apply a nickel size amount and dot it on my face then just blend it with my finger and my complexion evens out and looks glowing! It's a lovely base and I wear this on days I don't want to wear makeup but I still want that SPF, because again it's not heavy. It will lightly even out your skin.
