On a lovely Monday evening I noticed my monthly package has arrived! I've been loving everything that has been sent in my beauty box and this time was no different. There was one full size product and then other four products were sample sizes.
- So the only full size product was Clove+Hallow Lip Glaze in Spicy and to be honest not to fond of the color. It's beautiful but it's a bright pink/reddish color that doesn't look too bad on me but I would've preferred a nude lip glaze or their "Mai Tai" color. BUT, it wasn't a sticky lip gloss and felt super moisturizing so I'll probably purchase the Mai Tai color anyways! Well my dummy self didn't realize there was a part where you can list your preferences for your boxes or that they would send you products that fit you best SO always make sure you complete your profile!
- The next product I tried out was the Goldfaden MD Facial Detox Puryfying Mask. I already religiously use my glossier face mask but this one can also be used as a spot treatment which is nice. Sometimes I get the pesky pimple that arise from nowhere but with this little travel size I can take it with me when I sleepover at my boyfriends and apply it on the blemishes!
- Next, I tried the MUN Anarose Hydrating Rose Toner and this mini is super cute. I have my regular rose water toner that I use daily from trader joes but I used this after my weekly facial and I'm pretty impressed. It did leave my skin a little red around my cheeks but that's no biggie since it's my first time using. It comes with other extracts such as willowbark and gogi berry which helps smooth, repair, and protect the skin!
- The next product I haven't used yet but it's only because I think I want to save it for travel because I know it's the perfect size! Juice Green Apple Cleansing Bar smells SUPER GOOD! It moisturizes and exfoliates! It organic, and has olive oil, coconut oil, lemon, aloe , and apple juice smells like a delicious summer drink almost too.
- Now this last product was A DREAM, I haven't fully opened it yet because I really want to save the scent for something special. It's the Vert Mont Perfumery CYRENA PERFUME OILThe smell is strong coming just from the sample bottle but it is exquisite! The little paper it came with says "Mischievous Mermaid, Sovereign Queen, or Princess?" and I totally can see where they're coming from. This smell reminded me a lot of Chanel No. 5! It makes me feel like an older rich lady and I ADORE those smells!! Of course perfumes are different on everyone, how they react to your skin and body, honestly a different smell will come off from different people! It a wonderful woodsy smell, perhaps better for fall/winter, but still divine with Gardenia, Magnolia Grandiflorum, Tonka Glazed Green Cacao, and finishing with Labdanum Amber. Definitely investing in a full size!
