Good Golly I swear this month has just zoomed by! This month was nothing but focus and hard work. Seeing that my fall semester starts next month, I’m taking all of my days off for granted by either planning some things or doing nothing at all! That being said I was able to try some new things that I have fallen in love with and I’m excited to share with you guys!
S K I N C A R E:
- So far my skin has been great and my only breakouts really occur around my period so all is normal, but I decided to try Herbal Moon Apothecary’s Triple Rose Face Cream, I’ve been a huge fan of their eye cream and lip balms so naturally I was excited to see she released this baby here! It’s very light but very moisturizing which is what I like, sometimes some day creams feel too light and I hate having to reapply some more only too feel like it’s too much; with a pea sized amount after applying my serum this feels incredible! It’s made with no preservatives so you have to use it within 90 days (shouldn’t be a problem for me though) and since it’s so hot here at the moment I put this baby in the fridge so it can stay cool and not melt! At the moment her shop had a hard hit but you can still support her business through her ETSY or by simply emailing to place an order and they can arrange payments!
M A K E U P:
- It’s no surprise I didn’t splurge on makeup this month, like at all but I HAD to include this baby here for my monthly favorites. I’ve only gotten it last week and I already KNOW I’m going to need to restock and buy more ASAP. Colourpop's NEW Just a Tint Lippie Tint in CHERRY PICKIN. It is just the perfect red brownish tint on my lips, it looks like my lips but better!
- Kinda in the makeup/beauty department I wanted to use a cruelty free nail polish remover and this one by Mineral Fusion is fantastic! I had sparkly nail polish on before and I soaked a cotton pad with this and it took it away with ONE swipe, for glitter nail polish, that’s a win! I loved that it’s cruelty free but it’s also non drying free of acetone and it’s vegan! Def would recommend, you can find these at Whole Foods or Walmart I believe, I picked it up at Lazy Acres here nearby!
- Probably the only nail polish I’ll be wearing for the next couple of months until the official start of autumn. I love these nail polishes from Pacifica Beauty Afternoon at the Ritz and Treasured are my fav at the moment, perfect color for summer and transition to autumn.
- Verb has come out with a new line of hair products and I was so excited to get it! The Reset line is just what I needed! The line is made to clean the scalp repair the ends and seal all of these goodies in the end! I have really oily hair and and dandruff and the clarifying shampoo works wonders and removes product buildup very well!
O T H E R:
- Hedgewitch Apothecary is the most darling thing I’ve ever purchased! I grabbed the practical magic tea (because DUH) and the AMAs Veritas body oil. It’s not surprise how much I love this film and when I came across this on Instagram I HAD TO BUY IT! The tea is nice and simple and good even without honey which is how I normally have it. The Body oil is also divine and I like to use this sparingly and only on special occasions because this is a limited stock!
