New WINTER Hair Essentials

Saturday, December 1, 2018

Bonsoir friends! Today I want to share with you my new winter hair care favorites. Let me tell you THIS BRAND HAS BEEN AMAZING FOR MY HAIR! I started using Verb Products around mid October. I needed something hydrating for the dry months ahead and I really wanted something that won't break the bank but still give me what I need. I first came across this product on Instagram and then I asked my friend, Karla--who works at Sephora-- about it and she had nothing but positive feedback about the brand. Not only are they inexpensive but they are also cruelty free, and a Texas based company! So enough about the brand let's get to what we want to know PRODUCTS

I've been needing a new hair serum that can control frizz, protect, and not make my hair greasy. This baby does it all, it's a vanishing daily restorative oil so it softens, defrizzes, and adds shine to your hair with ingredients like bamboo extract, hydrolyzed soy protein, and moringa seed oil. I usually take one-two pumps on damp hair to tame frizz and to protect. Depending on the day if I'm in a rush or something then I'll let it air dry. If' I'm using heat I like to still concentrate more on the ends and apply two more pumps of product to my finished style. What I love most about this oil is that it's weightless. I've tried sooo many hair oils/serums from cheap to expensive and they always leave my hair looking super greasy, this DOES NOT do that. Very important key in my daily routine.

Although I don't like something that makes my hair greasy, I NEED hydration for the cold dry months that are coming upon us. Usually conditioners are a hit or miss with me, they're nice for the first few washes then the magic goes away when you're half way done with the bottle. I'm on my second bottle of this baby. I started using this towards the end of October and it doesn't disappoint, my hair feels SO incredibly soft, like I'm not even joking, I keep telling Kevin and my coworkers to touch my hair because it's literally like butter. I don't use a ton either which is really nice, because we all don't just stop at the recomneded amount let's be real. Not only does it soften but it's also color safe and detangles your hair! I think the most important ingredient in this conditioner is the Pro-Vitamin B5 which provides moisture and smoothness to dry hair, as well as the hydrolyzed vegetable keratin protein which allows the hair to be strong and pliable. Mama has not had a problem with split ends recently and I just cut my hair 4 MONTHS AGO!

Now, I didn't just want to stop at the conditioner for hydration I went one step further and went ahead and got myself the Hydrating mask as well!! I'm not really used to using masks for hair, it's like a luxury thing for me but this has changed the game. It restores, adds shine and softness to your hair and basically takes the conditioner to the 100th level. but it's not the same, I let this mask sit on the hair for about five minutes or however long it takes for me to wash the rest of my body and face. I usually only use it once a week on no specific day really, UNLESS I know I'm going to be working with heat styling, then I'll use it either the day before or the day after I heat style, just depends the mood. I think this is a major game changer in my hair routine though, the softness is amazing!!

So those are my main favorites right note from the brand, but I have yet to try more. Although they are affordable for a salon quality product I'm still in the process for pinching my money on certain things so these products are the only thing I really need right now! I definitely want tot try the Ghost ShampooGhost PrepStyling Cream, and the Strong Hairspray!! You can get this products on their website or at SEPHORA in stores or online! I hope you found this post helpful, I always get lovely comments on my hair and I wanted to share some beauty secrets!

Remember to use the hashtag #AllisonMadeMeDoIt if you try them out!! Until next time! À bientôt xoxo
